Christmas

Well we finally made it home from our Christmas vacation. We left last Saturday and were able to make it to my friend, Stefani Smith's wedding reception. It was fun to see friends I haven't seen in a while. We spent Sunday and Monday with Jory's family and had an early Christmas with them. I was sick all weekend and had lost my voice for 4 days! So it was really hard to talk to people. On Tuesday we went to the Mesa temple with my mom's side of the family. We did baptisms for the dead for 250 family names. I got sick again that day, so I didn't get to do baptisms. I mostly slept during the 4 hours my family was in the temple. I was really sad I didn't get to enjoy it with them. It was also my brother Chad's first time to do baptisms. So I was really sad I missed out.
On Christmas Eve my family and 2 other families get together. We eat at my parents house and afterwards go on a hay ride. We try to sing Christmas songs, but of course it sounds horrible because we can't sing! Then we go to other family's house and have a white elephant gift exchange. Then to end the night we go to the last family's house and do a live nativity. This has been a tradition in my family for years and I think I like it more than Christmas! We had my grandparents and my uncle's family from Utah down, so we had a very big group!
Christmas Day was a lot of fun. We opened presents, ate and played all day. I got a new camera and photo editing program, so once I have time I'll put some pictures up. We were supposed to leave on Friday, but we were afraid the weather was bad, so we didn't leave until Sunday. We were hoping to have a nice, warm Arizona Christmas, but it ended up snowing in Thatcher.

The headstone for Madison and McKenzie's grave came. We thought it turned out really nice. My Aunt Lori made us the sign, "Caution, Angels at play." She was so excited to give it to us, she had us open it on Christmas Eve.

I love Christmas time. I just wish it wasn't over so soon!

5. I dated Jory for a month before I realized I liked him. I didn't start liking him until I went to his house for Christmas and his brother-in-law (Jeremy, I know you read this) started talking to me about marriage. Then I realized I did like him and we were engaged 2 weeks later. So thanks Jeremy!

It's snowing!

It snowed for the first time tonight. It made me pretty excited. But I'm pretty sure I'm going to hate it when it all melts and it's muddy everywhere. And I'll want it to never snow again. But I like it right now! I hope I don't freeze this winter. I'm not use to this kind of weather!

Thanksgiving

We had a fun Thanksgiving weekend. We had Thanksgiving with Jory's family in Virden. I learned how to make all kinds of things! I made rolls, corn bread, pies, ok that's it, but it felt like a lot! Right after dinner we rushed back to Thatcher because Jory was going hunting with my dad and brothers. So I spent the whole week with my mom and sisters. It was a lot of fun. I'm sure Jory had fun too! Here are some pictures of our trip. Of course I didn't take a lot, I'm really bad about that!
I hate how it put them all out of order!

Me and Jory before he left me to go hunting. I really missed him even though it was only two nights. We haven't been apart since he went to Mexico (without me) when we first got married. I'm suprised I let him do that!

Family Picture! These are always torture!

Me, Dani and Cheryl Welch. She was the teacher I worked with last year. Her and her husband had Thanksgiving with my family. I was sad I only got to see her for a few minutes.

I'm Thankful

This year I'm really grateful for family.

I'm really thankful for my husband. Just today at church I had people tell me how great he was, what a great leader he was to the boys in our ward and a hard worker. I love him! I glad I picked the right one!

I'm thankful for my two angel girls who were too good to live in this world. And that they chose me and Jory to be their parents. Even though it was the hardest thing I have ever been through, I would never want it to be any other way. I'm thankful I know where they are and that they made it! Now all we have to do is live our lives so we can be with them again. I think about them everyday and I'm sure I'll keep thinking of them everyday for the rest of my life.

I'm thankful for THIS family! I'm thankful my parents taught me everything I needed to know and keep teaching me. They are always supportive of everything we do. I sure love them and miss them!

And I'm thankful for my new family. I love having sister-in-laws to talk too. And nieces and nephews. I love them! I had to get three pictures to get everyone in.

I love having a family!

My New Love

Now that I have nothing to do, I make scrapbook pages. I just wish I had different pictures besides wedding pictures. They get old after a while!

THIS IS NOT REAL!! I also like making fake bridal shower and wedding announcements. Can you tell I'm bored?

I'm Dying!

I really am. I can't sleep because my mouth hurts like crazy. It's 5:30 am and I'm awake. That doesn't happen very often...or ever! I haven't taken any pain medicine since 7:00 because it made me sick. I threw up twice within 10 minutes. It reminds me of my pregnant days throwing up all the time. That wasn't fun. And then my teeth started bleeding, so that scared me! So now I'm TRYING to eat oatmeal so my pain medicine will stay down. Hopefully it will or I might really just die or feel like it anyway!

P.S. Happy Anniversary yesterday Mom & Dad!

My Teeth Hurt!

Well I did it. I got my wisdom teeth out today. It wasn't so bad. The dentist was really nice. He is LDS and he new TONS of Rhotons and was friends with them all, so we talked about that for awhile. He also knew people from Thatcher and Kayenta. I was really glad my friend Terra recommended him. I had to get an IV which I wasn't too excited about, but it didn't hurt like a hospital one, luckily! The only real problem I had was they had laughing gas for me to breath in and I did not like it! The monitors were going crazy and the nurse or whatever she was kept asking if I was okay. I said, "why am I dying." I really thought that's what was happening because of the crazy monitors, but she said it was just becuase of my facial expressoins. She said they put people on the laughing gas to help them relaxe, but it sure wasn't helping me. So she switched it to oxygen and then I felt like I couldn't breath, so she just took it off. I was happy about that. It all went good, I'm not very swollen, but I might be in a few days. The numbness went away, but I wish it didn't because now they hurt! But I'm glad they're out now and I won't have problems with them again! Yay!

I LOVE My Husband!

Last night I came home from work to this:

And flowers and the nicest note. It made me cry. I love him. I guess he does have a romantic side. I just haven't seen it since we got married. Hopefully he'll keep doing nice things :)

I love Jory!

What we've been up too

We have been busy this week. We remodeled Pizza Edge, ok we just painted and put new cove base on (I didn't know what cove base was until this little project). It doesn't seem like a lot, but it was. We were both so sore afterwards...and tired. We also got the sewer lines replaced. So everything was very torn up. Which means we also cleaned A LOT! That was a long two days!

We aren't to excited about our new president. I'm hoping our country still has a chance. You can really tell it's the last days. I watched a video on someones blog that said Obama was for abortions and then told a story about a hospital that would put babies, that the mother's wanted to abort, in a room to die after they were born. It told one story where a mother wanted to have an abortion when she was between 21 and 22 weeks pregnant, so they made it so she would deliver early. Then the nurses put the baby in a room to die. That just made me sick. I had two babies at 21 weeks and they were little people. They had everything a baby should have. There is a quote by Dr. Seuss that says, "A person is a person no matter how small." I really believe that. It makes me so mad that women would have abortions, when there are tons of other women who can't have babies, but want them. Anyway, that really bothered me. I wish I could find that video, but it's that saddest thing in the world, so it's probably good that I can't.

My fish are still alive! Yay! The guy at Wal-Mart said we should clean their tank out every 4-5 days. It's been 5 days, so I probably should clean it, but it doesn't look very dirty so I've been putting it off. The guy was a crazy fish guy, so he might be going over board with the cleaning, but who knows. Hopefully they don't die. We've named them Wally and Marti. From Wal and Mart. I know...we're so creative. Hahaha

My family is coming this weekend and I'm so excited! I like having visitors, but we don't get much. So come visit us!

Oh yeah, I almost forgot. I'm getting my wisdom teeth out November 14th. I'm really scared. No so much for them to take them out, just for the stuff they use to put me to sleep and the pain medication. I don't do very good on stuff like that. I say and think crazy things. When I was in the hospital they gave me Ambien to sleep. One night I got more then usual and I thought I was at a carnival and the nurse was a carnival worker. I thought I was rocking and I couldn't stop. I was so scared I made Jory scoot his bed right next to mine. I really don't want that to happen again. So hopefully it goes well.

Fish!

We have pets now! Two little fish. They are really cool fish. They glow when you put them under a black light. One is neon pink and the other is orange. They survived a two hour car ride so I'm hoping we can keep them alive for awhile. I like having something to take care of...besides Jory!

Halloween

I've been thinking a lot about last year's Halloween. Me and Jory weren't dating yet, but we were hanging out a lot. I think I was starting to like him without really knowing it. Me, Stefani Smith, Jory and Kendal Cash all hung out that night. We went trick-or-treating to people's houses we knew. It was a lot of fun. Jory went home early that night because he had hurt his finger a little bit before that and was still on pain medication. I remember feeling kind of sad that he was going home so early. And I kind of felt bad that he lived in a hotel all by himself.

Jory and Kendal were a lot of fun to be around. They went to Wal-Mart and bought little kid costumes and they actually fit! They won an award at a dance for their costumes!

I was a cowgirl Halloween night, but I can't find a picture! But the weekend before there was a Halloween Institute dance and it was also 80's day at EA, so that's what I dressed up as.

Halloween was a lot of fun last year and it's fun to remember it! I like looking back at how far me and Jory have come since then. Life was a lot simpler then!

Happy Halloween!

We carved our pumpkins tonight!

Me working away

Trick or Treat!

Jory messed his up, but it still turned out really good!

Happy Halloween!
A few days ago Jory and I went to Flagstaff to do some shopping and get our cars fixed. We went to this gigantic health food store. They had tons of things there, but I thought this was the most ridiculous. It was raw milk for $10.99. So I had to take a picture of it. People probably thought I was crazy. I think I would just buy a cow. It might be cheaper in the long run.

One thing we did buy that I love is this mouthwash. My little sister Rocki introduced me to it and I just had to have some for myself. It tints all the germs that were in your mouth, so you actually can see you have a cleaner mouth. For some reason I really like that. It's probably weird, but I like seeing things go from really dirty to clean. That why I actually don't mind cleaning the house. I recommend this mouthwash to everyone. It's pretty fun!

Me and Jory are carving pumpkins tonight so I'll post pictures later! I'm pretty excited!

Happy Birthday Jory!

Today is Jory's REAL birthday. We went to the temple again today. The day started out really good besides the fact we were running a little late because Jory had to have breakfast in bed. On the way there we got into a fight about the stupidest thing in the world. I knew Satan had something to do with this. He doesn't want people to be doing good things. We debated not going to the temple, which was stupid because we were almost there. But we got over that, luckily. When we got to town we went to Subway to eat lunch. We tried paying with our debit card, but for some reason their credit card machine wasn't working. We stood there for a while and waited. I knew this had to be Satan trying to make us late. These days we never carry cash so we didn't really have many options. But I decided to check how much money I had in my wallet. The total was $10.99. I had 9 dollars and I was hoping I had enough change. I ended up having $1.99 in change. I had the exact amount for our meal. I was amazed. That doesn't happen very often. So we made it to the temple on time and we were the witness couple again. There wasn't a lot of people there today, so I'm glad we went.

In honor of Jory's birthday I'll post some pictures of him. These were all before we were married. It's amazing I even married him....He is funny though.

I love you Jory!

Sunday Fun/Jory's Early Birthday

Well for some reason these pictures didn't come out in the right order. Oh well!

On Sunday night we carved pumpkins. Jory's the offical pumpkin carver in my family now. I didn't get a picture of the finished product though. Whoops!

All the girls in my family

Sisters (try not to stare at my pale face)

My mom came out wearing the same shirt I had on. People at church called us twins (my mom liked that)

We celebrated Jory's birthday 6 days early. I got him a radar detector. I've known what I was going to get him for months. He would always talk about it, but he never did guess what I was going to get him. My siblings got him a Chili's and Outback gift card. Yum! And we had an ice cream cake from Dairy Queen. I love birthdays!
