Vegas!

For Spring Break last week we went to Las Vegas with my family. It was a lot of fun, but very tiring...especially with a baby. We mostly got pictures of Mikelle because she was everyone's favorite. Mikelle loves lights, so Vegas was her city!

At the Luxor where we went to Body Works. It was really cool to see what everything looks like inside our bodies. My favorite part was the baby section. They showed a fetus at a bunch of different stages. That day it didn't really bother me that we were in rooms filled with dead bodies. But the next day it really creeped me out. The freakiest part was that you could tell they were Chinese people.


In MGM Grand- We did CSI-The Experience there. We thought we were going to be able to actually solve a crime, but they pretty much told you everything.

Some of us went to the Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay. Mikelle loved all the fish and sharks.

First time swimming. I really didn't want her to get in the water, but my dad wanted to swim with her. So he got her out of the stroller anyway. She ended up really liking it. It was just like a giant bath tub!






She was so cute in her little pink swim suit.

3 months!

My little chunker is 3 months old. She's growing up so fast!
She smiles ALL the time now. And laughs! She's so cute. I could be so tired and irritated in the morning because she didn't sleep well and she'll smile at me and it makes it all better.
She finally likes little toys hanging above her. She gets really excited and wiggles her arms and legs and trys to hit the toys in front of her.
She loves to talk, especially in the morning.
She loves bath time and getting her diaper changed. She likes to be clean like her mom.
She holds her head up really well. She likes to have it up looking around.
She likes to watch me do things. If I walk in and out of the room she will try to follow me with her eyes.
She doesn't like being left in the living room while me and Jory are eating dinner. We have to bring her to the table with us or she cries.
She loves attention! And of course she gets it!

It's so fun to see her little personality. We love our little girl!

Happy Anniversary!

March 7th was mine and Jory's 2 year anniversary. It's hard to believe it's only been 2 years, because it feels like 50 with all the things we've been through together! We've been through the death of our daughters, bedrest...twice, lots of hospital stays, my brother almost dying and living apart from each other for 2 months. Even though I hated going through all these things it has made us stronger together. I'm so glad I've had Jory by my side through everything. I love you Jory!

We obviously didn't do anything for our anniversary because we were busy with a baby blessing, but once everyone left we just relaxed...and it felt good!

Mikelle's Blessing

On Sunday, March 7th we had Mikelle's blessing. Mikelle looked so pretty in her white dress. Jory gave her a great blessing. I'm so glad I have a husband who holds the priesthood. We had lots of family in town for the weekend and we mostly just ate food! I'm glad so many people could make it!

2 Months!

Our little Mikelle is 2 months old! We had her 2 month appointment yesterday. She weighs 12 pounds 15 ounces which is in the 93rd percentile! She's a big girl! She is 23 inches long which is in the 75th percentile and her head is 37.5 cm which is in the 19th percentile. She also got her shots. She screamed, but just for a little while. Anytime the nurse would talk she would start crying again. The nurse decided just not to say anything anymore. She did pretty good the rest of the day, but it would have been nicer if we didn't have a 2 hour drive home. She even slept better then she usually does. She only woke up 3 times instead of 4. I think she's growing up!

George & Reba Concert

Last week me and Jory went to a George Strait and Reba McEntire concert with my sister Dani and her husband Bryce. Jory loved it. I would have too if it wasn't 4 1/2 hours long. I was so tired and wondering how Mikelle was doing that I couldn't enjoy it.
