12 1/2 Weeks

Here's our cute little baby. I kind of like being high risk because I get ultrasounds all the time. He was flopping around all over the place during the ultrasound. He (we think it's a boy) was measuring 6 days ahead of what he really is, so I'm getting scared he's going to be a big baby.

Tomorrow I get my cerclage and I'm getting really nervous and scared. I'm so glad my mom's here to take care of me! I just hope everything goes well!

Lake Powell

Last week my whole family came up to visit. We did things around Kayenta for 2 days then went to Lake Powell for the next 3 days. We met up with some of my mom's side of the family and also Sonya Anderson and Brittani Clonts. I was so excited to see them. It was a lot of fun, but I was so tired at the end of every day. I was glad to finally be home!

Guess what?!

I'm pregnant! Me and Jory are so excited! I am 11 weeks today and I'm due January 17. I haven't really been sick at all, which is really nice. Mostly just tired...all the time, but I can handle that. We have already been to the doctor twice in 3 weeks and we're going again on Thursday to talk to the doctor about the cerclage I'm getting on July 15th. A cerclage is just a stitch around the cervix, so I won't have the same problems as before. They said it's a pretty easy and common surgery, so I'm not too scared. It's better to have the surgery then be worried the whole time. Anyway, we are really excited and can't wait to have a little baby.

June Activities

Well June is half way over and we have done a lot of things, but I have been a slacker at blogging. At the beginning of June we had a Rhoton family reunion. Of course I took zero pictures, but we did take family pictures because every single person in Jory's family was there. That's the first time that's happened since we've been married.

After the reunion we went to Mesa for a few days for my birthday. While we were there we saw "Up" in 3-D. It was really good, but those glasses start hurting after a while!


Last weekend our ward had a youth trip to St. George, Utah. We went because Jory is in the YM's presidency. We did baptism's for the dead at the St. George temple. We met up with another ward in St. George and they treated us so well! We went and saw Brigham Young's winter house and also Jacob Hamblin's house. Jory was really excited to see Jacob Hamblin's house because he is related to him. That night we went to Pine Valley, which is the prettiest place in the world (at least one of them). We stayed at ward member's "cabins," that were really houses. We went and saw the oldest LDS church still in use and had a devotional there. The next day we went on a hike, went swimming and had a testimony meeting. Then on Sunday all of the youth in our ward sang "I am a Child of God" in Navajo in the St. George ward's sacrament meeting. It was a long trip, but a lot of fun. Of course, I only took one picture.

Derek Graduated!

Derek graduated last Friday. so we made a quick trip to Thatcher. We also went to the lake. So we had a lot of fun.

I just remembered we had a web cam on our laptop that has the crazy things you can do to a picture. When we first got it we were at my parents house and my brothers and sisters loved it...mostly brothers. Chad really loved it and took tons of pictures. Here are just a few.

They make me laugh. Now I kind of miss them. Luckily, I get to see them in 3 days. Derek is graduating high school. I can't believe it. He doesn't seem old enough. Soon he'll be going on a mission! Man, I feel old!

Happy Birthday Little Rock! Rocki turns 11 today! She's getting old...but still acts like the baby! When I was her age I was taking care of Chad, who was a little baby because my mom was in the hospital with Rocki. We love you Rocki! Have a good day!
