February flew by fast! I can't believe it's already over! So much has happened!

Love his rolls! |
On Monday, February 18 we found out my Grandma Daley had died. She was 77 and had a lot of heart problems. She had actually died on Saturday, the 16th, but wasn't found until 2 days later when the cleaning ladies came to clean her house. She had gotten up Saturday morning, got dressed, did her hair and went to Wal-Mart. She had food sitting out to make for lunch. She was cleaning a spot on her carpet and had a heart attack. We figure she must have gone fast, luckily. I had a really hard time with the fact that her body was laying there for 2 days. But everything happens for a reason. I know if one of her family members would have found her it would have been a bad experience that wouldn't have been forgotten very easily. At least in my case it would have been. My grandma joined the church in her 20's and met my grandpa on his mission. She was from Minnesota and he asked her to come to Arizona to marry him. She had an amazing conversion story that my dad told at her funeral. The spirit was so strong, especially when he was reading her own words. My grandma wrote everything! She wrote her own life story (a few of them actually) and had 28 journals. Because of that I want to try to be better about recording my life!
On the way to Mesa, to the funeral with Cousin Callie |
In the hotel all ready for a long day! We had the funeral in Mesa at 10 and the graveside in Thatcher at 4. It was a very long day! |
Love this chub! |

He loves the bumbo. He likes to be able to see everything and be apart of the family. |

Chani, just catching up on your blog. I can hardly believe how grown up Mik is and Jake is such a chunky little guy they are both so adorable. I don't meet many babies chubbier than mine, but looks like you have a contender.
Sorry to hear about your Grandma. Death is a part of what we signed up for, but even when our loved ones are old and have lived a good life it is hard to see them go.
We sure miss you guys. Happy to see that you are all doing well.
