6 months!

Jacob is growing so fast! I can't believe we've had him for half a year! He is such a sweet boy! He is learning fast! He can almost crawl. He gets up on all fours and rocks. He can sit up but is still a little wobbly.  He loves to suck on anything. If you get close to his face he will pull your hair and bring you in closer to suck on your face. He loves toys...but mostly to suck on them. He loves food. He won't eat rice cereal and gags when you feed him green beans. He's not too good at taking naps. He takes about 4 naps a day and they are only about 45 minutes to an hour long. He still eats every 2 hours which gets tiring for me and means I can't be away from him very long. At his 6 month appointment he weighed 18 lbs 2 oz 62%, 27 inches long 71%, head 16.5 inches. I'm so glad I've got this boy!

We went on a mini-vacation one weekend. Miki loved swimming! Jake, not so much.

Miki got her ears pierced! I've waited 3 years for her to ask me. She did so good and even asked for a prize afterward (I thought the earrings were the prize).

Derek is engaged! I had so much fun helping him plan and look for rings. She said it reminded her of "The Bachelor" (exactly what I was thinking!)

First salon haircut. She was scared to death, had to sit on my lap and had to have 3 suckers. Sadly a few weeks after this she cut her own hair.
