6 months!

I can't believe we've had Mikelle for half a year now! It's gone by so fast. She is just getting cuter and cuter each day. She is learning so much. She can now sit up on her own. She's not perfect at it and falls after a while, but she is getting better. She always wants to be sitting up. She loves toys. She has started crying when you take something away that she wants. She loves blowing bubbles with her mouth. She can turn herself in a complete circle on the floor. She wants to crawl, but she can only scoot. She pushes off with her feet or when she's on her tummy she tries to army crawl. She is so funny and always smiling. I love that she loves me and smiles at me across the room. She is such a good baby and we love her to death!

She still has a small head, but it is getting a little bigger!

Happy Birthday

I turned 23 on Friday. It was a nice, relaxing day. Jory took me out to breakfast at "The View" in Monument Valley with our friend's Ryan and Annie. Afterward we drove around Monument Valley for awhile. We came home and played Super Mario Brothers on the Wii. For dinner Jory made me fajitas and even did the dishes! Jory got me an I-Pod Touch and I love it, but I'm pretty sure Jory loves it more then me! It was such a good day, even Mikelle was good for me!

23!

Family Pictures & 5 Months

Mikelle is 5 months now. She is getting so big! She weighs 17 pounds. She loves playing with toys and eating everything. She likes sleeping with pillows around her and burying her face into one of them. She loves food! So far she's had rice cereal, bananas and pears. She tried green beans but DOES NOT like them! She's getting better at sleeping through the night. She only wakes up once or twice. Most times just once. She has been a really good baby. She hardly ever cries. We just love our little Miki baby so much! Oh yeah, and she's rolled over! She doesn't do it very often, but everytime she does we get really excited!

My mom took our family pictures and I love them. I can finally hang a picture up of all of us!

4 months!

Time just flies by. I can't believe Mikelle is already 4 months. She is getting so big. She had to get shots again yesterday. I just hate that. I don't like hearing her scream or be in pain.
Our little Mik is:
15lbs 11oz- 90%

Her head is 38.8 cm- 5%

So she has a big body and a really small head. Haha, I thought her head was finally catching up with the rest of her body, but I guess not!

She is learning so much all the time. She loves to stand up. She would rather stand up then sit down. She knows how to scoot down in her chair if she's not buckled up. She loves me helping her roll over. I pull her to her side and then she does the rest. She pulls my hair all the time and pulls on my shirt when I'm trying to lay her down. She can grasp toys and holds them for a long time. She loves having her picture taken (probably because there is always a camera in her face!). She loves watching us eat. She sits in her bumbo drooling over our food and licking her lips. Today we had her try rice cereal and she loved it. She just didn't know what to do with the spoon. She was sucking on it like crazy. We think she's the funniest thing in the world. We love our little girl! I don't know what we would do without her!

Our week in Thatcher

Last week Mikelle and I got to spend a week in Thatcher. Jory had to stay home and work, so he took me to Flagstaff and my mom came to Flag and picked me up. We did all kinds of things while we were there.

We also we to visit the Rhoton family, where everyone fought over her. We visited my friends Rocki and Stefani who just had babies. They made me want to move back to Thatcher really bad! And we went to Tucson to go shopping. It was a very fun week, but it's always good to come home!

Vegas!

For Spring Break last week we went to Las Vegas with my family. It was a lot of fun, but very tiring...especially with a baby. We mostly got pictures of Mikelle because she was everyone's favorite. Mikelle loves lights, so Vegas was her city!

At the Luxor where we went to Body Works. It was really cool to see what everything looks like inside our bodies. My favorite part was the baby section. They showed a fetus at a bunch of different stages. That day it didn't really bother me that we were in rooms filled with dead bodies. But the next day it really creeped me out. The freakiest part was that you could tell they were Chinese people.


In MGM Grand- We did CSI-The Experience there. We thought we were going to be able to actually solve a crime, but they pretty much told you everything.

Some of us went to the Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay. Mikelle loved all the fish and sharks.

First time swimming. I really didn't want her to get in the water, but my dad wanted to swim with her. So he got her out of the stroller anyway. She ended up really liking it. It was just like a giant bath tub!
